Federalist Socity Debate TOMORROW 1/26 (Lunch Provided)
Please join the Federalist Society tomorrow, January 26, at 12:15 in L-165, for a debate on the landmark case, Christian Legal Society v. Martinez, in which a law school denied funding to a student organization that required its officers to be Christian. Lunch will be provided.
Trial Team Volunteer Opportunity – All Law Students Invited
Are you interested in how the trial team works? You can volunteer to play a witness to assist the National Tournament of Champions’ team prepare for its regional competition. Students are needed for January 30, January 31, February 6, and February 7. You need to be at the law school by 9:00 a.m. on each of these days. 25th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Lecture
The Akron-Summit County Public Library invites you to attend the 25th anniversary of the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Lecture Series on Sunday, January 17, 2010 at 2 pm at the main library on 60 S. High Street. The speaker will be The Honorable James R. Williams, retired judge, Summit County Court of Common Pleas.
The program is co-sponsored by the Akron-Summit County Public Library and the Eta Tau Lambda chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity. The program is free and open to the public.
