Are you interested in environmental law, energy law, or natural resources or real property law? Then consider joining the Environmental Law Society to discuss these topics as well as future volunteer and networking opportunities such as the April OSBA Seminar. This Thursday is the election of our ELS officers for next year. Students new to ELS are invited to join us. Due to class turnover, there is still opportunity to become an officer even if you haven’t been an involved member. So join us and get involved this Thursday, April 12, at 5:45 pm in room L-167.

BLSA will be having a general body meeting next Tuesday, April 17th at 12:30pm and 5:30pm in W-206. We have a few positions open on the 2012-2013 Exec Board and we would like the best and the brightest to apply. We will discuss these positions in detail at this meeting. We will also discuss upcoming BLSA events. Food will be provided!!!

Run-off elections for the Part-Time Vice President and Second Year Class Representative will take place beginning TODAY at noon and will run through Wednesday, April 11 at 11:59pm. Results will be announced Thursday, April 12.

The Law School’s nationally acclaimed mock trial team will be holding an informational meeting for anyone interested in trying out for next year’s team.  The meeting will be this WEDNESDAY, APRIL 11 at 5:15 in ROOM 151.  Coaches, along with current and former trial team members will be at the meeting to answer any questions and give information about the team and try-outs.  All are welcome to attend.  If you have any questions please contact Daniel Leister at leister.daniel@gmail.com, Dan Bray at dlbray62@gmail.com or Greg Thompson at gat8@zips.uakron.edu.
