Scholarship Opportunities – Critchfield Law Resident and Diversity Scholarships

The law firm or Critchfield, Critchfield & Johnston, Ltd., located in Wooster, Millersburg, Mount Vernon and Medina, has announced it is sponsoring two law scholarships for the 2012-2013 school year. The Critchfield Law Resident Scholarship is offered for current or former residents or Ashland, Holmes, Knox, Medina or Wayne County who has completed at least one semester of law school. The Critchfield Law Diversity Scholarship is offered to a minority student who has completed at least one semester or law school.

“We are looking forward to rewarding these students for their contributions to their community, as well as academic achievements,” said Daniel H. Plumly, managing partner of Critchfield, Critchfield & Johnston, Ltd.

At least one award in the amount of $1,000 will be provided for each scholarship for the 2012-2013 academic year. The deadline lor applying for the 2012-2013 scholarships is Friday, March 30,2012. Information regarding the scholarships and copies of the scholarship application forms can be found at any of the Critchfield offices or here. SBA Annual Public Interest Auction Saturday February 4, 6:00 PM Student Union Ballroom A.

There will be light Hors D’oeuvres, vegetable trays, cheese trays, and a dessert table. There will also be a cash bar serving wine, beer, water, and soda.

The auction will consist of a silent auction, live auction, and a raffle drawing.  Tickets are available in the student lounge from 9:00-6:30.  Auction tickets are $7.00 in advance, $10.00 at the door.  Raffle tickets are $3.00 for one or $4.00 for 10.  You do not have to be present at the auction to win.
