URGENT: The Akron Bar Association’s Street Law Program is looking for volunteers on Wednesday, November 2nd from 6:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. to chaperone a field trip to Columbus for a tour of the Ohio Supreme Court as well as a tour of the Ohio Statehouse. There will be a main chaperone to guide you in your duties. This is a terrific learning opportunity as we will be watching an oral argument as well have having a personal de-briefing session with the attorneys afterwards. Lunch is provided and attendance is at no cost to you. Volunteers will be chosen on a first come, first served basis. ILS – UNICEF Fundraiser – October 24-31, 2011, Student Lounge
The International Law Society will be collecting donations in orange boxes for Trick or Treat for UNICEF until Halloween. They will also be selling candy bags in the Student Lounge from Wednesday, October 26 – Monday, October 31 and will be offering a delivery service on Halloween.
