The University of Akron I-Corps program is asking current UA law students for help with a research project on law school note-taking and study habits. The researchers are asking students to participate in a brief one-on-one interview where you will be asked just a few open-ended questions. The data collected will be used to solve problems faced by today’s law students.

Please note: Participants are free to choose what information to provide. Identities will be kept confidential, and no personal information will be shared.

These interviews will be scheduled on Friday mornings during the month of March between the hours of 10:00 AM and 12 Noon. If you are interested, you can email the researchers directly at: research@GavelNote.com. Interviews will be in the lounge/study area in Central Hower.

The Immigration and Human Rights Law Clinic, in conjunction with The International Law Society would like to let you know that our movie showing for Tomorrow, Wednesday March 1st  for the “Immigration & Refugee Awareness Festival” has been POSTPONED to give you all time to prepare adequately for your midterms. The 69th Western Reserve District 5 Science Day will be held at The University of Akron, on Saturday, March 18, 2017 in the Student Union. Please consider being a judge for this year’s event!

Middle school and high school students must receive a superior at their local fair to participate in the District Science Day. We are planning on having over 300 participants.

We are seeking judges that are teachers or area professionals. Anyone with a background in law or psychology is encouraged to participate. The categories include: behavioral & social science, biochemistry, botany, chemistry, computer science, earth & space science, engineering & technological design, environmental science, mathematics, medicine & health, microbiology, physics, and zoology.

Judges should arrive at the Student Union at The University of Akron at 7:45am and will be leaving after a complimentary lunch around 1:00pm.
