Cleveland, OH: Jackson Lewis LLP, a law firm dedicated to representing management exclusively in labor and employment law, is accepting application materials for a potential summer associate position.  Interested candidates should be current second year full-time or third/fourth year part-time students who will graduate in December 2013 or May 2014.  Applicants should have a strong interest in labor and employment law. Classwork in these areas is also helpful, but not required.  The Firm requires candidates in the top 1/3 of their class. If you would like to be considered, you must submit your resume (listing your GPA and class rank); cover letter describing your interest in labor and employment law, interest in working in a large law firm that defends employers in labor and employment matters; relevant coursework (if applicable) and relevant experience; and a writing sample via e-mail to Career Planning Director, Barbara Weinzierl (bcw@aukron.edu) by Monday, February 11 at 12 noon. Typical law clerk duties including research, writing, etc. Firm prefers current 2nd year full time or 3rd year part time students (Class of 2014) in the top 50% of their class. Firm prefers students in the top 25% of their class.
