Zoom with Turning Point Tank:
Grab your pets and join us for a Zoom with Turning Point Tank on Thursday, April 30, 2020, at 5:30 p.m.! Here is the link: https://zoom.us/j/96159111319, Meeting ID: 961 5911 1319.
Amazon Gift Cards:
A student has generously donated four twenty-five dollar Amazon gift cards for students who live too far away to pick up an Acme gift card. So if you’d like an Amazon gift card, please email me and include the city where you currently reside.
Acme Gift Cards:
We still have Acme gift cards. Please email me if you want one and I’ll make arrangements to get it to you.
Student Emergency Assistance Fund:
We’ve processed the first batch of applications and checks should be in the mail! If you find yourself in need of financial assistance, please complete the application, which is available on the Law Student Resources Brightspace page.
Exams:
We are still waiting to hear from some faculty members about how they want their exam to be administered (free slot, open for a certain time range, or as a scheduled exam). Please visit the Law School Exams Brightspace page and confirm that you can access your appropriate exam modules—they’re empty now. If there are multiple sections of a class, you need to access the one for the exam in the section in which you are enrolled. If you can’t access your exam modules, please email Misty Franklin (misty@uakron.edu).
Keep Going:
We know it’s been a challenging semester. We are impressed with your dedication and perseverance. You’ve almost made it to the end of the semester. Please keep working hard, supporting one another, and taking care of yourselves physically and mentally. And don’t hesitate to ask for help.
