SALDF is currently seeking several officers for its executive board including a Vice-President, Treasurer, and Secretary. There is a possibility to add a couple more positions such as 1L and/or 2L representatives, if there is enough interest. SALDF is dedicated to preventing animal cruelty and advancing animal welfare through the legal system. In the past, SALDF has done a cutest pet contest and a puppy and kitty day. We are hoping to bring these events back and have several ideas for new events. If you have any questions about SALDF or if you are interested in becoming an officer, please contact Amanda Morris, President, at arr39@zips.uakron.edu.

Attention Graduates: Class Gift
Attention Graduating Students! Congratulations, you’re in the final stretch. As you wind down your law school career, we sincerely hope you’ll consider donating to the Class Gift Fund in order to provide a helping hand to those students who will walk the halls of Akron Law after you’ve gone. If you’ve already done so, we thank you! Starting with your class and continuing into the future, the Class Gift will contribute to the Student Emergency Fund. The SAF will be available for students who have emergency financial needs outside of school which they cannot cover on their own. Students will not have to repay the SAF for the distribution, it is only there to help.
This is not your ordinary class gift. Paying forward to future generations of the Akron Law family will make us all stronger. You can still contribute to the Class Gift and Student Emergency Fund by following this link –> https://www.lawalum.uakron.edu/sslpage.aspx?pid=408.
Thank you in advance for you generosity, and the best of luck as you enter this exciting new chapter of your lives!
