VISTA Tenant Engagement and Community Economic Development Project (TECDev) still has openings The at Nevada Legal Services (Las Vegas, NV) and the Georgia Legal Services Program (Gainesville, Georgia).    The justiceAmeriCorps program still has open positions for this year’s class! You have the opportunity to provide legal representation to unaccompanied children facing deportation. Fellows will have the opportunity to become part of this ground-breaking partnership between Equal Justice Works, the Corporation for National and Community Service, and the Department of Justice to serve children who would otherwise be forced to navigate our complex immigration system alone.

The Equal Justice Works VISTA Affordable Housing and Preservation Project is looking for legal fellows focused on preserving, maintaining, and improving project-based Section 8 affordable housing across the United States. Rural Summer Legal Corps Applications Open January 23rd Equal Justice Works and Legal Services Corporation are actively recruiting students to fill 30 exciting positions nationwide in the Rural Summer Legal Corps program. Selected participants will begin the summer with intensive training from poverty law experts on housing, domestic violence, public benefits, migrant farmworkers, Native American, and family law. After the training, the law students will return directly to their host site to continue their 8-10 week placement. If you have any questions about the application and selection process, please email ruralcorps@equaljusticeworks.org.
