BLSA invites you to Snack and Study Holiday Edition!

This Thursday, November 30, from 5:30 – 7:00 pm, BLSA will host its last Snack and Study of the year in the Veterans Lounge.  We will have a Holiday Themed Dinner from 5:30 – 6 pm.  From 6 – 7 pm, we will have Exam Review Sessions covering 1L and 2L subjects featuring Professor Cravens and Professor Gibson.

All students are welcome.  Please have your questions ready!

*All law students receiving your law degree on January 10, 2018 (after fall 2017 semester) or on May 20, 2018 should plan to attend one of these sessions.*

Akron Law provides this opportunity for all student graduating after this fall 2017 semester and in May, 2018.  You will receive a professional head shot for your own personal use and for the Akron Law Class of 2018 Composite Photo.

All faculty and staff may be photographed as well if you need updated photos for the website, your Outlook email, etc.

The Trandafir student writing competition is back! Compete with other law students to win a $1,800 cash prize and a chance to be published!

Each year, the Transnational Law & Contemporary Problems journal, in conjunction with the University of Iowa College of Law International and Comparative Law Program, conducts an annual world affairs student writing competition. The competition is open to law student and to graduate students in all disciplines. The winning essay will be published in the Transnational Law & Contemporary Problems journal.  Dates for submission will open December 1st and will close February 1st.
