Time for Thanks and Time for Giving

We invite you to join us in making our Thanksgiving Dinner on Monday, 11/20, not only a time for thanks, but also a time of giving!

When we volunteered at the Haven of Rest for Akron Law Cares day, we learned of a specific need that we each can help meet.  The Haven of Rest offers many valuable services to the Akron community, one of which is a clothing room.  They welcome gently used clothing, and they also are in need of packs of new underwear for men, women, and children.

Please let the spirit of giving enrich you as we begin the holiday season by participating in our Undie Monday drive – bring your donations with you to Thanksgiving Dinner on Monday!

Akron Law Thanksgiving Dinner is Monday

The Annual Akron Law Thanksgiving Dinner is Monday!

Our Annual Akron Law Thanksgiving Dinner is Monday, November 20th~ have your families/significant others join you in the McDowell Commons anytime between Noon and 6:30 pm for a full traditional Thanksgiving meal.  We will have roasted turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, rolls, cookies, and homemade pumpkin pies for you to enjoy!  With as busy as you are with your studies, this gives you an opportunity to take a break and enjoy a delicious meal with our Akron Law family.

In conjunction with the dinner, SBA is sponsoring a “Undie Monday” drive.  Please bring with you to the dinner new packs of underwear for men, women, and children; gently used clothing; or you can make a cash donation.  These will all go to the Haven of Rest for their clothing room that serves those less fortunate in the Akron community.
