Get Your Fingerprinting Done Today

The University of Akron Police Department has generously offered to do the fingerprinting for the first Ohio Bar Application (the “Application to Register as a Candidate for Admission”) right here at the Law School!  Since this application is due in the Ohio Bar Admissions office on November 15th, you will want to save yourself a good amount of time to get your fingerprinting done here.

There will be 2 opportunities:

MONDAY, November 6 from 5:15 – 6:30 pm in the McDowell Atrium

TUESDAY, November 7 from 12:15 – 1:15 pm in the McDowell Atrium

*Please bring your $5 cash or check and a photo ID

*Blank fingerprint cards will be provided

Please take advantage of our police officers coming to the law school to do your fingerprints if you have not yet had them done.

Scanlon-Bell Inn of Court Reception is Today

All students are invited to attend a reception with members of the Scanlon-Bell Inn of Court at 5:15 p.m. today, November 2, 2017.

The Scanlon-Bell Inn of Court was founded more than thirty years ago. Its mission is to inspire the legal community to advance the rule of law by achieving the highest level of professionalism through example, education, and mentoring.
