Student Ushers and Marshals Needed for Law Commencement
We need current law students to help at our Law Commencement – and you will earn pro bono service hours for doing so!
DATE: Sunday, May 20
TIME: 12:15 pm – 4:15 pm (4 hours of service!)
WHERE: E.J. Thomas Performing Arts Hall
WHAT: We need 4 candidate marshals and 10 ushers – if you have a preference, please let me know; first come, first served.
HOW to RESPOND: Please email Mary Cooke at mec@uakron.edu as soon as possible, but no later than May 8.
DRESS CODE: Professional.

Late Application Deadline for July 2018 Ohio Bar exam is May 10
The deadline for a late application to take the July 2018 bar examination is May 10, 2018. The dates for the July 2018 Ohio bar examination are July 24 – 26, 2018.

Alumni Awards Breakfast May 18th
You are cordially invited to attend the Akron Law Alumni Award Breakfast on Friday, May 18th at the Jean Hower Taber Student Union Ballroom (3rd floor). Breakfast begins at 7 a.m. with the program starting at 7:30 a.m.
The first 16 students to RSVP will receive complimentary admission thanks to the generous donation of a friend of Akron Law.
