Akron Trial Team Tryouts

Become a part of the Nationally ranked Akron Trial Team! The Akron Trial Team proudly has four straight AAJ Regional Titles and two straight National Final Appearances, in addition to two upcoming National appearances at AAJ and BLSA this Spring!

This past season, at six out of seven National Tournaments, our team finished in the semi-finals or finals. Topping off the season with an AAJ Regional Akron v. Akron final! At the end of this semester we will be competing for a National Championship at AAJ Nationals in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and BLSA Nationals in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Barbri Scholarship Deadline

Dear Dean Peters:

I am writing to remind you of the deadline for the $10,000 scholarship opportunity sponsored by BARBRI Law Preview, April 15, 2019.

We believe that in the right hands, a law degree is a powerful tool to extinguish injustice and bring about positive social change. That is why we are seeking to help one deserving student who plans to enter law school in Fall 2019, by contributing $10,000 towards their first-year tuition with the One Lawyer Can Change the World Scholarship. 

To qualify, a student must simply submit a 500-word essay that explains how they expect to use their law degree to make a positive impact on our world, and how $10k would make a positive impact on their world.
