Volunteers Needed for Law Commencement

We need current law students to help at our Law Commencement – and you will earn community service hours for doing so!

DATE: Sunday, May 19

TIME: 12:15 pm – 4:15 pm (4 hours of service!)

WHERE: E.J. Thomas Performing Arts Hall

WHAT: We need 4 candidate marshals and 10 ushers – if you have a preference, please let me know; first come, first served.

HOW TO RESPOND: Please email Shannon Aupperle at sfauppe@uakron.edu as soon as possible, but no later than May 7.

DRESS CODE: Professional

TODAY – Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals Judge Alice Batchelder Event at 12:15

Judge Alice Batchelder, a Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals Judge and Akron Law Alumni, will be speaking at an event at the law school today at 12:15.

Joining Judge Batchelder will be Professor Jeremy Kidd from Mercer University. They will be discussing the topic ‘Have We Lost the Values That Make Society Work?’

Join us in room 180. Lunch will be provided.
