On behalf of the Allen County (Indiana) Bar Foundation, I am reaching out to inform you of a scholarship opportunity for students who are from Allen County, Indiana or planning to practice law in Allen County. The Allen County Bar Foundation Legal Opportunity Scholarship aims to support and advance diversity, equity, and inclusion by helping students with ties to Allen County enter or continue law school and prepare to join the legal profession. We ask you to share this message with all eligible students as the deadline is quickly approaching.

The scholarship will provide up to $2,500 to a law student for law school tuition and fees or bar exam preparation and up to $1,500 for an undergraduate student for Law School Admissions Test fees or test preparation services. The scholarship application is available on the Bar Foundation’s website at: Allen County Bar Foundation Legal Opportunity Scholarship – Allen County Bar Association. The application is open through March 31, 2024 with the award announcement in May.

• Student that has a parent or family member who has been incarcerated
• Student who is enrolled or accepted into an accredited college or university within the United States for the Fall 2024 semester
• Student that is pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree
• Students who are at least 18 years of age or older when they apply
