October 26, 2010: U.S. NAVY JAG Corps Informational Session (12:15 – 1:15 in Room 134) – A representative from the U.S. Navy JAG Corps will give an informational presentation to students interested in learning about careers as Navy JAGs. By way of background, U.S. Navy JAGs serve as attorneys and naval officers. They serve worldwide in a variety of practice areas, including criminal litigation, operational law, international law, administrative law and legal assistance. He will be speaking about his career path, his philosophy as an entrepreneur and the proper role for attorneys acting as inside counsel. He employs a large staff of lawyers in his businesses that are headquartered in a suburb of Columbus.
