On behalf of the Women in Law Section of the Akron Bar Association, you are invited to join us for our monthly meeting on Tuesday, March 23, 2010 for lunch and a presentation on Family-Friendly Work Policies.
One of the frequent topics discussed during our meetings is how to balance work and family. This Tuesday’s program will help firms and individuals develop employment policies and practices that can help solve the work-family imbalance.
Keeping Your Largest Investment: How to Create Cost-Effective Family-Friendly Policies that will Allow You to Recruit and Retain Your Best Employees
Many employers in corporate America are retaining their employees by creating “family-friendly” policies that allow frazzled staffers to better juggle their work and home lives. In fact, scores of companies have developed work-life programs in efforts to retain the precious talent they have hired and trained. The panel of speakers will discuss how the staff, attorneys, and those in leadership roles can work together to create a family-friendly environment in order to attract and retain skilled, productive, and happy employees.
