Attention ALL First Year Law Students – Mandatory Career Planning Orientation Sessions Coming Soon:
Meet in a large group with the Career Planning Staff to discuss the basics of resumes, cover letters, options for summer 2015 jobs, and everything career-related you need to know. Following your attendance at one of these sessions, you will be permitted to schedule an individual career planning consultation with the CPPO staff. Mark your calendar now!

For law students who are curious about what it’s like to work for a corporation, please join us for a panel discussion hosted by NEOACC. With more than 35,000 members employed by over 10,000 organizations in more than 85 countries, the Association of Corporate Counsel is the world’s largest community of in-house counsel.

The program will begin with a brief overview of the in-house counsel world, after which panel members will provide their perspectives of in-house counsel life. An interactive question and answer period will follow. Feel free to submit questions in advance or at the presentation.

Representatives from the Cuyahoga County Prosecutor’s Office will be on campus to interview selected students on Friday, October 24th.

Classes: 2L, 3L (for internships and post-graduate opportunities)

Presidential Management Fellows Program application opens tomorrow!

The Presidential Management Fellows Program
The Presidential Management Fellows (PMF) Program Office invites interested applicants to join us for two upcoming
webcasts, conducted through Adobe Connect, to provide information for the Class of 2015 PMF application.
The Class of 2015 PMF application will open from October 1-15, 2014, and the announcement can be found at
www.USAJOBS.gov when it opens (simply search for “Presidential Management Fellows” during the open period).
To learn more about eligibility and how to apply, please review the “Become a PMF” section on the PMF website at
www.pmf.gov. In addition, the 2015 PMF Assessment Preparation Guide has been published to the website.
Tuesday, September 30, 2014 from 3:00-4:30pm (Eastern Time): A one-time Applicant Information Session that will
focus on a general overview of the PMF Program, the 2015 PMF application, and a panel of current Fellows offering their
advice and experiences. There will also be an opportunity to ask questions throughout the presentation.
Wednesday, October 8 from 1:30-3:30pm (Eastern Time): A question and answer session where applicants may
submit questions regarding the 2015 PMF application cycle.
These webcasts will be conducted on-line through Adobe Connect and will have dedicated PMF Program Office staff to
answer questions. Applicants can connect at http://opm.adobeconnect.com/pmfapplicantchat/ and select “Enter as a
Guest.” Please note, the audio from the webcasts will be provided through your computer/device audio output.
