This informal conversation will allow you to meet, ask question and talk with experienced practitioners about obtaining the legal employment you want, problems regularly faced by lawyers, practice pointers, and whatever else is on your mind. Thursday, April 4 from 5 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. in West Hall Room 210–  The Ohio Chapter of the Legal Marketing Association presents: Nuts and Bolts of  a  Law Firm. Learn about marketing, business development, client services and practice development. These are all skills that new attorneys are expected to know, but that law firms won’t teach you! Whether you are working at a law firm, government agency, public interest organization or anywhere else, you will leave this workshop with helpful information that you can use this summer. Food will be served.

Wednesday, April 17 from 12:20 – 1:10 p.m. and 5:15 – 6:15 p.m. in Room 152  — Preview of Fall 2013 On-Campus Interviews – don’t miss out on the opportunity to learn more about Fall OCI and what to expect. We will tell you how to apply, when your resumes will be due and all the nitty gritty details you will need. Don’t miss this important workshop. Food will be served.

The Career Planning Office is hosting our annual Government and Public Interest Information Fair on Tuesday, March 12 from 12- 1:30 p.m. and 5 – 6:30 p.m. The fair will take place in the Law School atrium. Representatives from various government and public interest agencies will be here to talk with students about their organizations and possible opportunities. Please dress professionally as you would for an interview and come prepared with your resumes.
