Large Akron Law Firm Seeks Temporary Litigation Assistant

Symplicity Job No. 2552 – The litigation assistant will assist in the review and cataloguing of documents in active litigation. The assistant will work as part of a team to identify, analyze and code these documents for use during the discovery process and at trial. The position will work closely with the litigation attorneys and paralegals assigned to this case.

 Successful applicants must be detail oriented, have solid communication skills, a comfort with computers and must be highly organized.  Applicants must have strong academic credentials; preferably ranked in the top one-third of their class either currently or at the time of graduation.

 The litigation assistant must be able to work 40 hours per week, during normal business hours (8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.).  The review process may occur on Saturdays as needed.  Document review will be performed at the law offices of Buckingham, Doolittle & Burroughs, LLP located at 3800 Embassy Parkway, Suite 300; Akron, OH  44333.

 The litigation assistant will be paid $10 per hour.
