CPPO Announces NEW Internship/Externship Opportunity with Summit County Sheriff’s Office

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                         Internship with the Summit County Sheriff’s Office under the Director of Administration/Legal will include the following work experience: Will work directly with a licensed Attorney in the areas of enforcement and interpretation of collective bargaining agreements with the four (4) Sheriff’s bargaining units. Participate in disciplinary hearings and arbitrations, research and help draft memorandums and briefs for various labor related issues. Review and help update policy and procedures for the Sheriff’s office. Research and draft legal memorandums on various legal issues effecting the operations of the various divisions of the Sheriff’s office. Research and draft legislation to be submitted to the Summit County Council.

Akron, OH – Contracts Technician – ActionLink

Symplicity Job No. 2263 – ActionLink is seeking  a part-time Contracts Technician in its Akron office.  The Contracts Technician is responsible for the following duties:

  • reviews draft contracts to ensure the proposed program falls within the normal scope established by the executive team;
  • checks for problematic language, calculation errors, and typos in contracts drafted by the sales and client services teams, prior to approving the contract for receipt by the client;
  • communicates with their Accounting team to ensure they receive relevant information prior to invoicing the clients; and
  • tracks active contracts from draft stage to completion of program.

 The Contracts Technician will work approximately 15 hours a week during normal business hours (8am to 6pm) on a pre-approved schedule of his/her choosing.  Deadline:  Friday, February 25, 2011, no later than 6:00 p.m.
