Qualifications: Rising 3L or a part-time 4L OR A RECENT GRADUATE to join the firm as a patent attorney (or a law clerk THEN a patent attorney). All technical degrees will be considered, however, the firm’s preference would be electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or computer science. The candidate must be eligible to sit for the patent bar (or already be admitted to the patent bar). Recent graduates taking the July bar exam, the position will commence after the exam so as not to interfere with your bar study. Recent graduates would join the firm as a full-time associate. Rising 3Ls would be expected to work part-time as a law clerk during their last year of law school with the intention of remaining at the firm subsequent to graduation as a full-time associate. There is no GPA requirement for the position, and no class ranking requirement; however a strong academic record and well-rounded experiences are favorable.
Salary: The salary is commensurate with experience and the regional environment. Preference will be given to candidates who desire to live, work, and remain in Northeast Ohio.

OLAF Justice for All Fellowship Application 2019

The Ohio Legal Assistance Foundation is seeking applications for the 2019 Justice for All Fellowship. The Foundation will award two-year Justice for All Fellowships to outstanding recent law school graduates with a passion for public service. The Foundation supports fellowship projects which address unmet civil legal needs facing low-income individuals and families in Ohio. Each fellow must work together with an Ohio host organization to develop a proposed project.

Fellows will receive a competitive salary, benefits, and up to $6,000 in annual educational loan repayment assistance.

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
Those submitting an application for the 2019 Justice for All Fellowships must meet the following requirements:
• You must be a third-year law student or a recent law school graduate who demonstrates a commitment to public interest law.
• You must be eligible and agree to take the Ohio bar examination in the summer of 2019; OR, be admitted to practice law in Ohio; OR, be licensed in another state and eligible for temporary admission before taking the Ohio bar examination.
• You must identify an Ohio organization to serve as your host organization and full-time employer during the fellowship term. Together with your host organization, you will propose a project that will allow you to use your legal skills to address civil legal needs faced by low-income individuals and families throughout Ohio.
