Research & Writing Position Spring Semester, 2018

Volunteer Research Assistants/Writers (RA/W) are needed for a book project on tort law. The RA/W will assist in the research and writing for the annual supplement (“Pocket Parts”) for BALDWIN’S OHIO PRACTICE: TORT LAW 2D (West), the only treatise on Ohio tort law in existence. Each participant will
gain knowledge and experience by thoroughly dissecting recent developments in Ohio tort law, while being guided and directed by the Author in a friendly (ie: Non-Socratic) mentorship. This is an excellent opportunity develop knowledge, skills and expertise.
As in past years, 6-8 students from across the state of Ohio will be selected for this project. Students who are interested in tort law, willing to work hard and eager to set themselves apart from their peers (and their competitors in the job market) are encouraged to apply. The project will run from the beginning of January through June, and the positions will be part-time (on average, about 10 hours/week or less).
These are “cyber-commute” positions and students from across the state are encouraged to apply, regardless of location.
This project is available to satisfy your pro bono general hours (up to 25 hours).
