Legal Aid of West Virginia seeks summer fellows! Selected Fellows are eligible for the following two Fellowship options if they complete 300 hours of service for the Project in our Logan and Lewisburg offices by August 31, 2016:

There are two possibilities for student stipends.
• Receive $4,000 stipend for 8-10 weeks of service, no service hour minimum. If a law student selects this option, he/she will have the option to request unlimited additional outside funding.
• Receive $4,000 stipend for 8-10 weeks of service amounting to at least 300 hours and add a $1,212 Segal Education Award through the AmeriCorps JD program. If a law student selects this option, he/she may request no more than $300 in additional outside funding.

Prof. Vacca is looking to hire a research assistant to help him conduct a literature review on 3D printing and copyright law. The work will largely consist of locating, reading, and summarizing articles on 3D printing and copyright law. Additional opportunities related to this project may develop. Students who have taken either Copyright Law or Fundamentals of IP are preferred. The expected time commitment is ten hours per week for approximately two to three weeks. If interested, please submit a copy of your resume and a short statement describing your interest in this research by Feb. 10, 2016 to Prof. Vacca at vacca@uakron.edu.
