AkronLawJobs No. 7035 Overview: Legal interns at St. Jude spend a summer immersed in a unique culture where basic, translational, and clinical research are all housed on the same campus in a robust hospital.
Duties: Interns will work with a number of lawyers, both in-house and (with supervision) outside counsel, on substantive projects in many aspects of the law – some of which will depend on the intern’s interests – including health law, business transactions, risk management, international law, intellectual property, commercial transactions, labor and employment, clinical trials, grants and contracts, and even shaping law and regulations at the State and Federal levels. Every assignment comes with plenty of context and follow-through opportunities for the interns, and client interaction is plentiful.
Qualifications: Third year law students and those who are in the second semester of the second year are encouraged to apply. Must be fluent in English, have exceptional grades, and have taken Professional Responsibility or have passed the Multi State Professional Responsibility Exam (MPRE).
Please note: To prevent conflicts of interest, students with relatives employed by St. Jude may not apply, except in extraordinary circumstances.
This is an unpaid internship. If you are selected, you may apply for the public interest fellowship or seek course credit through Akron Law’s externship program.

Overview: The Tucker Ellis LLP Summer Mentorship Program is designed to give law students the opportunity to work closely with an experienced attorney. Students work alongside their mentors for the summer, where they have the ability to experience a wide range of legal work from attending court hearings to traveling with their mentors to depositions. Berea, OH – Law Clerk – Ohio Turnpike Commission
AkronLawJobs No. 6960 Overview:The Ohio Turnpike is a 241 mile-long, limited-access toll highway in the U.S. state of Ohio, serving as a primary corridor to Chicago and Pittsburgh. They are seeking a part-time Law Clerk.
Duties will include assisting the General Counsel and Director of Contracts to complete large research projects and day-to-day legal work for the Ohio Turnpike. This is a part-time position.
Qualifications: 2L or 3L student with a minimum GPA of 3.0. Strong reading, writing, research and analytical skills. Computer proficiency. Interest in government and/or public policy work. Must have a valid driver’s license.
Salary: $15.00 per hour
