The library is hosting a table on the first floor of the Law School to promote our digital study aids. Stop by our table for free chips and water, and enter our drawing to win a $50 Starbucks gift card or one of two $25 Jimmy John’s gift cards. The tables will be:
Monday, April 24, 2017, 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
and
Tuesday, April 25, 2017, 2:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
The electronic study aids include: Akron Law Digital. West Academic Study Aids and Wolters Kluwer Study Aid Library.
The laptops now have new circulation periods. Laptops 1-5 will circulate for 24 hours and 6-10 will circulate for 7 days.

Your chance to pay off your library fines and help a good cause is here. Starting Monday, March 20, and continuing through April 9, University Libraries and the Law Library will be sponsoring their semiannual Food for Fines drive for the Akron-Canton Regional Food Bank.
You can bring in nonperishable food items to pay for your library fines. One food item equals one dollar toward your fines and there is no limit on the number of items you may bring in. This offer cannot be used to pay for billed or lost items.
Food may be dropped off at the Science and Technology Library, Law Library, or Bierce Library Circulation desk.
Any questions can be directed to the law library staff.
Whether your favorite study aid is Emanuel’s outlines, Questions and Answers or Sum and Substance Audio, you can access your favorite in one of three online databases! Online access means no waiting for a book and no fines!
You can even take notes and highlight the ebooks, just like using the print. And in many cases, the ebooks can be downloaded and/or printed (instructions for these features).
