The Summit County Juvenile Court Family Resource Center is looking for volunteer tutors to provide homework help in a one on one and small group setting. Tutoring sessions will occur on Wednesdays from 3:00-5:00pm at the Summit County Juvenile Court. Tutoring is scheduled to begin on Wednesday, October 14, 2015. Volunteers Needed!!! The Summit County Juvenile Court – earn pro bono hours!
The Summit County Juvenile Court is seeking a few law students to volunteer at the court on Wednesdays from 1pm to 4pm beginning as soon as possible. The opportunity would allow students to work closely with attorneys who are assessing the Juvenile Court’s jurisdiction over custody requests, and to assist in completing pro se pleadings and other forms. Volunteers will earn pro bono hours toward your graduation requirement. Interested students should send a resume to Jamie Blair: jblair@cpcourt.summitoh.net no later than Monday, September 14th.

Our next free Certificate of Qualification for Employment (CQE) clinic is Saturday, August 29th! We’re very excited to be providing opportunities for ex-offenders in Summit County to take a step toward gaining employment and independence!
We are looking for students to volunteer from 9:00am-12:45pm on August 29th. The clinic will be held at Woodland United Methodist Church, 444 N. Hawkins Ave. Akron, OH 44313. The time you volunteer can be applied toward your graduation requirement as pro bono limited means hours.
There will be a volunteer training on Thursday, August 27th, 3:00-4:30pm at the law school. The time you’re at training will count toward your pro bono limited means hours as well.
