DESCRIPTION: One scholarship of $1,000 will be awarded to an undergraduate or law student who is determined about addressing the strengths and weaknesses of the U.S. criminal justice system.

The Law Office of Sears & Associates, P.C. is offering a $2,500 scholarship for a college or first-year law student who is enrolled in a two-year to five-year institution, graduate school or law school in 2017.

The Competition is open to any minority college or first year law student who is a legal resident of the United States residing in one of the 50 states or the District of Columbia and who is enrolled in a two-year to five-year institution, graduate school or law school in 2017. Minority is defined as the following: Black, Asian, Pacific Islander, Native American, Eskimo, or Hispanic.

The Earl Warren Scholarship is open to college graduates who are enrolled in the final year of college/university or enrolled in the first year of law school.

Wilshire Law Firm is offering a biannual scholarship of $1,000 to law school or undergraduate college students who have demonstrated academic excellence and a commitment to the community. The purpose of the scholarship is to encourage and assist a motivated student in fulfilling their ambitions of working in the legal field.

If you are a law student and belong to the minority group, you may apply the “Intellectual Property Law Section-Women and Minority Scholarship”. The IP Law Section of the State Bar of Texas is now offering two scholarships to any woman or member of a recognized minority group who intends to practice IP law in the State of Texas. The purpose of the scholarship is to facilitate and encourage women and minorities to enter the practice of intellectual property law in Texas. The Tax Bar will award two $5,000 scholarships to each winner.
