Spencer & Associates Community Leaders Scholarship

To help students who are seeking a career in public service and who have an interest in helping others in their communities, we have created the Spencer & Associates Community Leaders Scholarship. Through this program, we provide financial assistance to college students who have demonstrated an interest in serving their communities and who are pursuing careers in criminal justice, law enforcement, or other legal fields.

Scholarship Eligibility Requirements

To apply for the Community Leaders Scholarship, a student must meet the following criteria:

  • Low to medium income – An applicant must be from a household with an annual family income of $100,000 or less.
  • Community service – An applicant must have a demonstrated interest in service to their community, with a history of volunteer work or other forms of community involvement.
  • Field of study – A student must be enrolled in or planning to enter a program in the fields of criminal justice or law enforcement, or they must be enrolled in or planning to attend law school.
  • Age – A person must be at least 17 years old on the date they submit their application.
  • Legal status in the United States – An applicant must be a U.S. citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident.

Uplifting Communities Scholarship: The Law Office of Donald L. Bell

We are proud to offer the Uplifting Communities Scholarship. This $1,500 award is available to undergraduates and graduates of any major and aims to support individuals dedicated to uplifting underserved communities.

Land Legal Group Scholarship

Land Legal Group is pleased to announce their annual scholarship available to students anticipating attending school in the fall of 2024 as either a pre-law undergraduate or first-year law student. The $1,000 scholarship is intended to help defray expenses for students that have been accepted into a school anywhere in the United States.

Eligibility

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • The recipient is a U.S. citizen or otherwise authorized to work in the United States
  • The recipient is accepted and will either be attending school as a pre-law undergraduate or entering law school in the fall of 2024
  • Academic achievement as reflected by an undergraduate cumulative minimum 3.0 GPA

Fernandez Law Group Scholarship

Fernandez Law Group is excited to announce its annual scholarship for students who plan to attend school in the fall of 2024-2025 as either pre-law undergraduates or first-year law students. This $1,000 scholarship aims to assist with expenses for students accepted into a school anywhere in the United States.

Eligibility:

  • The recipient must be a U.S. citizen or otherwise authorized to work in the United States.
  • The recipient must be accepted and planning to attend school as a pre-law undergraduate or entering law school in the fall of 2024-2025.
  • Academic achievement must be reflected by an undergraduate cumulative minimum 3.0 GPA.

2025 Car Accident Survivor Scholarship

The Austin Car Accident Survivor Scholarship will provide $3,000 per semester in financial aid for recipients. We designed this scholarship to ease the financial burden of pursuing higher education. This scholarship can be used for a wide range of school-related expenses, including tuition, housing fees, textbooks, school supplies, and other expenses necessary for completing the academic year. Like other Austin scholarships in 2025, we are providing this financial aid opportunity as a way to support car accident survivors in the Austin community, as well as those who have lost loved ones. This helps them pursue their educational goals and move forward in life.

Eligibility:

Directly Impacted by a Car Accident — To qualify for the Car Accident Survivor Scholarship in 2025, applicants must have either themselves, or a close loved one, been seriously injured in a car accident that was due to the negligence of someone else.

Austin Resident — Applicants must be residents of Austin, Texas, or its surrounding area, and provide proof of residency.

Proof of GPA — Students must have a high school or college GPA of 3.0 or higher are eligible to apply for the scholarship.

Enrollment at an Accredited U.S. College or University — Eligible applicants must be enrolled or have received an acceptance letter from an accredited U.S. college or university for the 2025 academic year and be able to provide proof of enrollment.

Video Submission — To be eligible, applicants are required to create and submit a 60-90 second YouTube video describing their experience as a car accident victim, whether through personal involvement, the effects of a loved one, or the loss of a loved one. This video essay should focus on raising awareness about the impact of car accidents on families and offer suggestions for accident prevention across all age groups.

Agreement to Scholarship Terms and Conditions — Applicants must agree to the terms and conditions set forth by Sandoval & James for the Car Accident Survivor Scholarship in Austin.

Submit by Application Deadline — Applications are only eligible if they are submitted by June 30, 2025, to be considered for the scholarship. This deadline allows time for individuals to create a thoughtful submission and allows our team to thoroughly review each application and distribute funds before the fall semester begins.
