The Brandon Wong & Associates Difference Makers Scholarship is worth $1000 and is offered once each academic semester. This award is available to students in their junior and senior years of college who aim to make positive changes in their communities. Students must apply for our scholarship by November 11, 2024. $2,500 Tenant Rights Scholarship

This scholarship opportunity was created to inspire and support the next generation of legal advocates who are committed to enhancing tenant protections and ensuring safer living conditions for all, not just in the Bronx but throughout the country.

Other requirements for applying for the Tenant’s Rights Scholarship include:

Must be a resident of the United States
Must be currently attending Law School in the United States or have been accepted to Law School in the United States
Completing the Google form application (this is also where your essay will be submitted) by December 1, 2024.

Good Lawyers / Good People Scholarship

Amount: $1,000

Deadlines:

• Fall Scholarship – Apply between May 15 and June 30; Awarded July 31^st
• Spring Scholarship – Apply between September 15 and October 31;  Awarded November 30^th

Eligibility Requirements:

• Currently enrolled or accepted undergraduate or graduate law student.
• Cannot be related to any current Simeone & Miller employee.

Ashby Thelen Lowry is pleased to announce their annual scholarship available to students anticipating attending school in the fall of 2024 as either a pre-law undergraduate or first-year law students. The $1,000 scholarship is intended to help defray expenses for students that have been accepted into a school anywhere in the United States.

Eligible applicants must:

1. Hold a minimum 3.0 GPA
2. The recipient is a U.S. citizen or otherwise authorized to work in the United States
3. The recipient is accepted and will either be attending school as a pre-law undergraduate or entering law school in the fall of 2024

Requirements:

Applicants must submit the following by February 15th, 2025:

1. A completed resume
2. One to three (1-3) page typed essay on the topic of students choice related to the area of law they intend to pursue
3. A complete copy of schools transcripts
4. An acceptance letter from a school within the United States
5. Proof of legal residency in the U.S. (i.e., birth certificate, passport, permanent resident card, etc.- social security cards will not be accepted.)

Award:

The $1,000 scholarship award will be made payable directly to the student in the form of a check and is designed to be used for educational expenses only.

Deadline:

Applications for Ashby Thelen Lowry Legal Scholarship must be received no later than the end of the day on February 15th, 2025 to be considered for the award.
