Kanoski Bresney Stand Up to Distracted Driving Scholarship

Kanoski Bresney, our Central Illinois law firm, is offering five scholarship awards, each in the amount of $2,000, to support students throughout the U.S. who are starting or continuing their college or university education in the Spring 2022 semester.  

We ask that applicants for the Kanoski Bresney Stand Up to Distracted Driving Scholarship submit an original essay in response to the prompt: “How has distracted driving affected your life? What ideas do you have to raise awareness of the dangers of distracted driving and prevent this behavior among young drivers?”

Rittgers & Rittgers scholarship opportunity

Rittgers & Rittgers – $5,000 scholarship opportunity for a law student through the Ohio Association for Justice.  The requirements are you have to be a 1L, 2L or 3L, submit a cover letter to Lindsay@Rittgers.com along with a resume and a 500-1000 word essay on why caps on damages in the State of Ohio are unconstitutional for injury victims.  

The winner of the scholarship will be announced and invited to our annual convention in May at the Hilton Easton in Columbus, Ohio.  The deadline for the application is January 15th, 2021 and the winner will be picked sometime in February/March.
