Abrahamson & Uiterwyk Scholarship Opportunity

Abrahamson & Uiterwyk is offering a law school scholarship contest, with a deadline of July 31, 2021, to students who will be attending an ABA-accredited law school in Fall 2021.

This scholarship is free for students to apply, requires an essay submission and the winning applicant(s) will be awarded $1,500 dollars to put toward their legal education. BARBRI’s “One Lawyer Can Change the World” Scholarship

June 1st is the application deadline for BARBRI’s “One Lawyer Can Change the World” Scholarship, and it would be great to get an entering 1L from Akron Law to become one of this year’s finalists.  Last year’s finalists received over 6,000 votes and generated a lot of visibility for their future goals and why they chose to attend their respective law schools.  

In addition to publicizing our scholarship finalists’ vision for change, the “One Lawyer Can Change the World” Scholarship also offers the following financial awards:

  • First prize = $10k scholarship
  • Second prize = $5k scholarship
  • Eight Runners-Up = $1k scholarship

All scholarship awards are paid directly to each finalist’s law school on August 1st as a credit towards their 1L fall semester tuition.

The Erie County Law Foundation’s Chief Justice Samuel J. Roberts Scholarship

Purpose

The purpose of the Chief Justice Samuel J. Roberts Scholarship Fund is to provide financial assistance to law school students from Erie County, Pennsylvania, enrolled in accredited Law Schools.

Who is Eligible?

Residents of Erie County, Pennsylvania who will be entering their FIRST year at an ABA-accredited law school are eligible to apply for this scholarship. Assuming the availability of funds, and provided that the student maintains a satisfactory academic record, the scholarship may be renewed for the student’s second and third years.
