We would like to inform you that the 2020 Diversity in Law Minority Scholarship Contest is currently open for each and every Hispanic or Latino, African American, or Asian students accepted to or currently enrolled in an accredited law school or paralegal program.

Scholarship: Overcoming Adversity Law School Scholarship
To Participate: We are offering one $1,500 scholarship to a law student who writes a 500-word essay on how they have overcome some form of adversity in their lives such as a medical issue, a car accident or disruptive family circumstances. Essays should also explain how overcoming adversity has impacted their personal growth.
Prize Amount: $1500 Requirements: Students must write up to 500 words on how an adverse circumstance affected them and how they overcame this hardship.
Essays should succinctly tell your story and demonstrate your personal growth. Applicants must be enrolled in an accredited law school during the 2020 fall semester. Students must send in their application by the June 15th deadline.
Deadline: June 15th, 2020 – July 1st, 2020

Name: DDRB Lawyers Legal Scholarship
Who is eligible: Admitted law school students attending an accredited law school in the United States with a minimum of 3.5 GPA. We will accept “pass” for binary grading systems.
Application instructions: Applications, including all supporting documents, must be submitted in full, online, by January 31, 2021 in order to be considered. A winner will be announced on, or before, March 31, 2021 at which point we will disburse the $1500 award to the student’s financial aid department to help pay for their tuition costs.
