Florin Roebig Trial Attorneys announces Scholarship Opportunity

We are excited to be offering a $5,000 scholarship for the coming Fall 2020 semester. The scholarship is for full-time students pursuing a law-related degree. First, second and third place prizes are available through an essay contest, highlighting a subject that our firm is highly involved in which is sexual harassment prevention. We believe that all students, especially those wanting to be involved in law should be passionate about social issues.   All details may be found here.

Benenati Law Firm announces 2nd Annual Benenati Law Firm Future Leaders Scholarship

Details regarding the scholarship:

Scholarship is a one-time award of $2,000.

Applications are due no later than 11:59 pm EDT on May 31st, 2020.

Winner will be selected and announced in July 2020.

Eligibility requirements:

You must be a citizen, national or legal permanent resident of the United States.

You must have a minimum 3.0 GPA.

You or someone in your immediate family has recently gone through financial hardship.

Scholarship is available for high school seniors and current college students nationwide.

Must be attending an accredited 4-year college/university or a 2-year community college for Fall 2018.

A current transcript MUST be submitted for consideration.

A 500-word minimum essay explaining your future study and career plans and how your life experiences have influenced your goals. Special consideration will be given to members of a family that have recently gone through bankruptcy.

Although not required, applicants are encouraged to submit recommendation letters and/or resumes to substantiate their application for consideration.

Law School Admission Council (LSAC) Writing Competition for a $5,000 Scholarship

As part of LSAC’s ongoing commitment to promoting diversity in law schools and the legal profession, we sponsor a biennial Diversity and Inclusion writing competition designed to advance the dialogue about recruitment and retention strategies that can attract a more diverse class of law students. 

The writing prompt for this year’s competition is “why a diverse and inclusive bar is essential to equality, justice, and the rule of law.” The competition is open to all currently enrolled law students, and submissions are due to LSAC no later than March 31, 2020. Winners will each receive a $5,000 scholarship.

Philadelphia Injury Lawyers P.C. Scholarship Opportunity – Deadline to apply extended to July 15, 2020.

$1,000 Annual Scholarship based on an essay competition with a topic focused on medical malpractice law.  This scholarship is open to both graduate/law students and undergraduate students seeking to go to law school in the future.  All applicants must be enrolled in a U.S. undergraduate or graduate-level program.  All details may be found here.

Werman Salas P.C. is very excited to announce a scholarship opportunity to students at the University of Akron.  

Name of Scholarship: Werman Salas P.C. Labor And Employment Law Scholarship.

Award: $1,000

Short Description: Applicants must submit a combined personal statement and essay (under 800 words) describing their interest in labor or employment law, workers’ rights, or economic policy relating to overtime pay, minimum wages, or gender-based pay disparities; and how that interest informs their future employment goals.

Eligibility Requirements

In order for students to participate in this scholarship contest, applicants must meet the following criteria:

Must be currently attending an American University or College and enrolled in any undergraduate program

Submit an online submission for the chosen topic via email and provide their Name, Address, Phone Number and Proof of Enrollment

Must provide the essay submission attached (as a .pdf) to the application email

The application deadline is September 1, 2020
