Guajardo & Marks is offering a $1,000 scholarship to first-year law school students for Fall of 2018. The deadline to apply is May 1, 2018.

Here are the eligibility requirements:

• Scholarship applicants must submit a sample of their writing which has previously been published in a newspaper, magazine, professional blog or academic publication. It is not necessary that the subject matter be related to the law; its primary purpose should be to inform readers.

• U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the U.S.

• Commencing law school (1L) in August 2018.

The Lake County Bar Foundation of the Lake County Bar Association is pleased to announce it will be awarding up to three (3) One Thousand Dollar ($1,000.00) Scholarships at their annual Law Day Celebration in May 2018.  Law students who are legal residents of Lake County, Ohio are eligible and are invited to apply.

Deadline is April 2, 2018.

2018 Lake County Bar Foundation Scholarship

The DDR Lawyers Legal Scholarship, worth $1500, is designed to help one law school student pay for their tuition costs. 

Who is eligible: Admitted law school students attending an accredited law school in the United States with a minimum of 3.5 GPA. 

Application instructions: Applications including all supporting documents must be submitted in full, online, by December 31, 2018 in order to be considered. A winner will be announced on, or before, January 31, 2019 at which point we will arrange to have $1500 sent to the student’s financial aid department to help pay for their tuition costs.
