The Minority Corporate Counsel Association Scholarship Opportunity

The Minority Corporate Counsel Association (MCCA) is now accepting applications for its Lloyd M. Johnson, Jr. Scholarship Program (LMJ Scholarship) from diverse individuals entering an ABA accredited  law school as full-time first-year law students in the 2018–2019 academic school year. Established in 2004, the LMJ Scholarship Program seeks to nurture the academic and professional careers of outstanding law students and advance the diversity pipeline to the legal profession. To date, MCCA has awarded over $3.5 million in scholarships to nearly 200 diverse men and women. This year, MCCA will award up to 10 scholarships. The deadline to apply has been extended to August 31, 2018.

OutdoorStack’s Annual Financial Aid Program 2018

Details:
We are now accepting applications for our third annual financial aid program. Each year we award a scholarship to one student passionate about outdoor activities.

Award:
One winner of a $1500 scholarship

Requirements:
1. Must currently be a student of The University of Akron
2. Interest in outdoor activities such as camping, hiking, cycling, water sports or winter sports

Chase Rubin Scholarship Opportunity

Chase Rubin is offering a $1000 scholarship opportunity to eligible high school, college, and university students. You can find full details regarding eligibility, applying, winner selection, and more below.

Eligibility Requirements:

Current high school students graduating in 2019 that have already been accepted into an accredited college or university.
Current college students who haven’t reached their final year of school.

Guidelines:

Eligible students can enter by submitting a 500-word essay on the following topic, “What is one place that you have traveled to that helped shape your life?” If you haven’t traveled very often, the question can be modified to be “What is one place that you would like to travel that you think would help shape your life?” The essay must be submitted by January 31st, 2019.

Winner Selection:

A winner will be selected and contacted during February 2019 by Chase Rubin or his representative. Once contacted, the winner has two weeks to respond before a winner up is selected. Once the winner responds the scholarship will be sent to their school’s financial aid office.
