The Akron Public Interest Law Society (APILS) will hold a general meeting on Sept. 15 at 5:15 pm in W-214.
All current and prospective members are invited.
The meeting will focus on a discussion of the organization’s plans for the year, and officers will solicit suggestions from mebers for events and projects.
LAW holds general weekly meetings every Monday at 12:15 and 5:15 in W-209 to touch base and discuss events and programming. All prospective and current members are invited to attend. Food will be provided.
Note: The November 2 meetings will take place in W-208.
LAW and the Akron Law chapter of the ACLU will sponsor an Early Bird Breakfast every Monday and Tuesday this semester in the Law Student Lounge from 7 to 9 am. They will sell coffee, tee, hot cocoa, and various foods.
Every Friday from 5:15 to 6:15 in the West Hall Lounge, the Law Association for Women will meet to discuss a book and learn to knit. Food will be provided.
Delta Theta Phi will host a meet & greet at The Lockview Bar & Grille in downtown Akron on Friday, Sept. 11 at 8 pm. This event is for all law students, but new students are especially encouraged to attend.
