IPTLA 1L Rep Election

IPTLA will be holding its 1L Representative Elections through OrgSync next week!  Vote for the 1L Rep Monday September 23 through Wednesday September 25.  The 1L Rep will be announced at a mixer held on Thursday, September 26 at Lockview in Downtown Akron.  Keep your eyes out for more information on that event!

Last Chance: Moot Court Honor Society Informational Meeting

Are you interested in trying out for Moot Court, but you’re not quite sure what it entails? Please join us for the remaining Informational Meeting to learn more about becoming a member of Akron Law’s Moot Court Honor Society. The meeting is open to everyone and is not a requirement in order to tryout, whether you are a returning member or thinking about trying out for the first time. We’ll meet on Thursday, September 19th from 12:15pm-1:00pm in Room W-215. Please contact Loren Fekete at LDF13@zips.uakron.edu with any questions.

SELS Meeting – Thursday, 9/12, 12:30 pm, W-206

Sports Entertainment Law Society (SELS) is having its first meeting of the semester. Professor Ryan Vacca will be presenting on the basics of Sports & Entertainment Law. If you have an interest in this field or are unfamiliar with it, please feel free to stop by. Food will be provided to all in attendance. The event will be on Thursday, September 12th from 12:30 to 1:30 in Rm W-206.
