As if you did not need more reason to show up to play kick ball tomorrow,  all players will receive community service hours for the time that they are there!

Rain or shine we will be at Buchtel fields and we will make sure tomorrow is a fantastic event raising money for a worthwhile cause.

Akron Law Student Bar Association will be hosting a kick-it tournament on October 27,  from 12:00 to 4:00 at Buchtel Fields.Kick-It was founded by a 10-year old cancer patient with a big dream- to cure cancer by playing kickball. Now a national fundraising program, Kick-it raises money for pediatric, adolescent and young adult cancer research. Funds raised benefit children’s cancer research across the country. Kick-it partners with national medical advisory boards to identify the most promising research studies and projects.

Sign up sheets are still posted outside of the SBA office.  There is a $10 per player fee and this money will go to the kick-it organization in order to continue funding cancer research.  We welcome everyone to come out and showcase your kickball skills!  Food and drinks will be provided.

The executive board of GSLA would like to thank everyone for coming out to the Charity Drag Show.  Thanks to your donations to our amazing performers, we were able to raise well over $500 for the Trevor Project so that they may continue to offer help and support for LGBTQ youth and young adults across America through their crisis and suicide prevention programs.
