Volunteers Needed for Law Commencement
We need current law students to help at our Law Commencement – and you will earn community service hours for doing so!
DATE: Sunday, May 16
TIME: 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm
WHERE: InfoCision Stadium – Summa Field
WHAT: We need volunteers to assist with registration and various other aspects of commencement.
HOW TO RESPOND: Please email Shannon Aupperle at sfauppe@uakron.edu as soon as possible, but no later than May 7.
DRESS CODE: Professional
Please try to be available to volunteer – we really need you! This is a great event, and you can see what to expect when you complete your law studies.

Community Service Limited Means Opportunity!
Volunteers needed for Valor Home (Valor Home). We offer short-term and long-term volunteer opportunities based on what you want to do and what fits best with your schedule. Some of our go-to opportunities include cleaning, organizing the donation room, helping prep meals in the kitchen, helping with the upkeep of the home, organizing the outdoor sheds, and clean up outside. If you have a specific hobby that you want to share and teach our veterans we are open to any ideas! Yoga classes, cooking classes, sharing recipe books, art classes, teaching computer skills, job prep help, painting rooms, whatever your passion is we encourage you to come and teach at Valor Home!
