The IPTLA is holding an open meeting welcome to all Akron Law students interested in learning about the Intellectual Property & Technology Law Association and its upcoming events. The topics of discussion will also include the Loyola-Chicago Patent Law Interview Program and the PLI Patent Bar Study Program. The IPTLA will be joined by Career Services faculty, Dean Benedict O’Brien & Assistant Director Alecia Bencze, and IP faculty, Professor Mark Schultz, Judge Ryan Holte, & Professor Camilla Hrdy.

Academic Calendar:

The clinic assists eligible clients remotely with
completing the CQE application. To participate in the opportunity, you must
attend training. The next training will be on January 27th, 2021, from
6-7:30 pm online.
Once trained law students can work on CQEs on their own
time with clients to earn pro bono of limited means hours. The training
will also count for those hours. If you have any questions or want to sign

The Alaska Bar Association announces a scholarship program for Alaskans in law school. As the only state without a law school, our applicants come from law schools all over the country. This scholarship is aimed at Alaska students who demonstrate ties to Alaska, and the intent to return to Alaska after graduation. Applications can be found on the Alaska Bar Association website and they are due March 1. To view the flyer, click here.
