Akron Alumnus, Ty Kendrick, will be speaking on the practicalities surrounding practicing patent prosecution and IP law generally. Ty is a former partner in the patent prosecution group of Benesch Friedlander Coplan & Aronoff, and has most recently started his own IP law firm, Kern Kendrick, LLC, in the central Ohio area. Ty will come prepared to speak on running an IP law practice, but hopes to engage in discussion with the attendees rather than merely a lecture. Please join us for this event at the following WebEx:

The IPTLA, the Health Law Society, and the Federalist Society are co-hosting Professor Adam Mossoff, of George Mason University, and Dr. George Horvath, of Akron Law, on: Pandemics and Patents: Do Patents Help or Hinder Medical Innovation? Professor Mossoff and Dr. Horvath will discuss this topic in detail and Professor Hrdy, of Akron Law, will moderate with commentary.
