Join Us at the Barrister’s Ball This Friday

The Student Bar Association would like to invite you to Barrister’s Ball!

This event will take place on Friday, October 20th, at Tangier’s from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Heavy hors d’oeuvres will be served and a cash bar will be available.

All students, faculty, staff, administration, and guests are welcome! Attire is semi-formal (ladies are generally in cocktail-style dresses, and slacks/jacket for the gentlemen).

Application to Register as a Candidate for Admission to the Ohio Bar is due Nov. 15th

If you plan to take the Ohio Bar Exam after law school and have not started the application process, please see the criteria below to find out if you need to submit the first application by November 15, 2017:

If you are in your 3rd or 4th semester of law school (your 2nd year), or have had 29 law credits transferred from another law school (so you are in the equivalent of your second year of law school), your application is due to the Supreme Court of Ohio Bar Admissions Office by November 15, 2017.    Please see Section 2 of the Rules here.

Application deadline to take the Feb 2018 Ohio bar exam is November 1

The deadline for your application to take the February 2018 Ohio bar examination is November 1, 2017.  The dates for the February 2018 bar examination are February 27, 28, and March 1, 2018.  Please see the Supreme Court of Ohio Bar Admissions website for information here.
