Schwartz Injury Law Perseverance Scholarship

Each semester we offer students across the United States the opportunity to apply to our $1,000 scholarship.

Schwartz Injury Law Perseverance Scholarship supports the higher education of students who have suffered from serious injuries or medical issues. Eligible applicants must be at least 18 years of age and have a minimum GPA of 3.0.

The Zimmerman Law Firm 2023 Law School Scholarship

At the Zimmerman Law Firm, our experienced team of Texas personal injury lawyers represents individuals who have been injured by the negligence of others.

We are committed to fighting to get rightful compensation to our clients who have been wronged by insurance companies and negligent acts.

This is why our attorneys have created the first annual Zimmerman Law Firm scholarship for law students. We want to hear from law students about why they have committed to law school and what they plan on doing with their Juris Doctorate once they graduate.

Scholarship Contest Overview
We are asking law students to write a 300-500 word essay about the following: “Describe why you chose to pursue law and what do plan to do with your law degree once you graduate?“

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must be enrolled or accepted into an ABA-accredited law school in the United States as of the fall 2023 semester.

Submission Deadline
Applications and essays must be submitted before August 1st, 2023; and
The winner of the scholarship will be notified no later than August 15th, 2023.


Scholarship Award
The winner of the contest will receive a $1,000 scholarship to put towards their law school education costs.

Job Opening: Law Library Research Assistants

The University of Akron Law Library seeks TWO Research Assistants to begin work starting Spring semester 2023, or over the Winter break (if possible).  Most work can be completed remotely. This position can continue into subsequent semesters.

The Research Assistants would help the librarians with faculty research, Libguides and grading.  Candidates MUST have completed Advanced Legal Research by the end of Fall semester 2022.  The candidate should also be able to work an average of 7-8 hours a week. The ideal candidate will have completed and earned at least a B in LARW I and II. Past research experience is a plus.
