The Cantor Crane Personal Injury Lawyer Student Scholarship Fund

In order to help make a college education more affordable opportunity and to help spread awareness about Driving Under the Influence and Distracted Driving, the Arizona law firm of Cantor Crane is offering a $1,000 student scholarship to help current, or soon-to-be, students ease the burden of higher education costs.

Participants will receive a $15 Credit for UBER® after taking the pledge.

Mark T. Banner Scholarship

This scholarship is part of The Richard Linn American Inn of Court’s commitment to fostering the development of intellectual property lawyers of high ethics, civility and professionalism, and especially those from diverse backgrounds. 

The recipient of the scholarship receives $5,000 to be applied to their legal education.  This scholarship is available to law students who have entered into a JD program at an ABA-accredited law school in the United States and who will continue in that program through at least the Fall semester 2017.  Scholarship recipients are selected by the Mark T. Banner Scholarship review board based on the following criteria: 

• Commitment to the pursuit of a career in intellectual property law. 

• Commitment, qualities and actions toward ethics, civility and professionalism. 

• Academic merit (undergraduate, graduate and law school). 

• Written and oral communication skills. 

• Leadership qualities and community involvement. 

• Member of a historically underrepresented group in IP law (including race, sex, ethnicity, sexual orientation and disability).

Join BLSA for “Snack and Study” on Monday, Sept. 19th at 5:15PM

BLSA is hosting a “snack and study” session Monday, September 19th at 5:15PM (room TBD)

Professor Willa Gibson will be conducting an Outlining Seminar covering basic outlining techniques, specifically in the area of contracts. Afterwards, some upper level students (including myself) will be available to answer any questions about 1L subjects and to study with you all.

Light Refreshments will be served.
