The Student Bar is the the umbrella organization for all student activities here at Akron Law. Your choices will have a large impact on programming and networking events for the upcoming school year. Please take some time to carefully consider your responses and reach out to the nominated students for more information on what they plan to do to foster student life here at Akron Law.

Moot Court Mandatory Training Makeup Session – Thurs., Mar. 19, 5:30pm

Moot Court Honor Society will be hosting an oral argument training session Thursday, March 19, 2015 from 5:30pm – 6:30pm in Room W-210. Professor Cohen will be presenting on the components of an oral argument. Although this training is required for MCHS members, it is open to everyone. This may be beneficial for 1Ls, as oral arguments approach in your LARW II courses! Please email Monica (MLL71@zips.uakron.edu) if you have any questions.

CBA – Lecture Series to host Russ Pry – Thursday, April 2nd – Free Lunch

The College of Business Graduate Programs office is hosting Russ Pry, County Executive and Akron Law Alumnus on Thursday April 2, 2014 from noon until 2p.m. The event will be held in the College of Business (right next door) in room 256 on the second floor, and is apart of the H. Peter Burg Speaker Series. The lecture series was created in 2012 to provide an opportunity for University of Akron students to learn from highly successful alumni, local business and community champions and nationally recognized leaders.
