Law and Leadership (LLI) is seeking volunteers to take the LLI students to the Akron Bar Association on Wednesday, July 9th from 12:30 – 2:30 PM to assist the students with finding professional clothing. The Women in Law Section of the Akron Bar Association has organized the clothing drive.

The New York State Bar Association Committee on Animals and the Law is pleased to announce its 2014 Student Writing Competition. The deadline for submission is July 1, 2014.
Law students are invited to submit to the Committee an article concerning any area of Animal Law. All submissions will be reviewed by a panel of attorneys and other professionals practicing or otherwise involved in animal law. The first place winner will receive $1,000 and a certificate of achievement. The second place winner will receive $500 and a certificate of achievement.
