Please join the ACLU in a riveting presentation on “Prisoners’ Rights” on October 11. Guest speaker Carlos Warner will be discussing his involvement in Guantanamo Bay cases. There will also be a session for questions to ask about the rights all prisoners in America have and which ones are being refused. The event will be held in room W-210 at 12:15PM.

PURPOSE: If you are a first or second year law student, you are considering or definitely planning to sit for the Ohio bar exam, and you have NOT yet submitted your required preliminary bar application (“Application to Register as a Candidate” form), then you should absolutely plan to attend this FREE workshop. This program is open to all law students.
Topics addressed will include:
¨ The Ohio bar application process
¨ Character and Fitness (issues, problems, investigations)
¨ The level of scrutiny given to the bar applications
¨ Appropriate and thorough responses to the bar application questions
