Summit County Legal Defenders Office seeks law student volunteers – great experience

AkronLawJobs Job No. 3902 – The Summit County Legal Defenders Office Juvenile Law Program is seeking second or third year law students who are interested in acquiring required pro bono hours or a great learning experience. Volunteers will interview juvenile detainees and their parents, assist the assigned public defender, and sit in on detention hearings. Opportunities are available Monday through Friday. Students are expected to be at the Juvenile Center on Dan Street in Akron at 6:45 am and stay till roughly 9 am. ALLSA- General Meeting: October 22, 2012 at 12:15 pm in L-167.

The Asian Latino Law Students Association (ALLSA) will be holding a general meeting on Monday October 22, 2012 at 12:15 pm in L-167. We will discuss upcoming events such as: Chips and ALLSA (our Charity Poker Tournament), Canned Immunity, and many more. Also, we will be voting on the venue for our next social.
